Kid-Kare is an after-school program offered to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton students in grades K-6.
Our program is open from 2:15 to 6:00 p.m. on school days. We are staffed to provide a 1:15 staff-to-student ratio. The majority of our Kid-Kare staff are young adults, who provide good role models for the children. Currently we average 40 children per day, but can provide care for up to 60.
We begin each day with a snack, provided by our food service, then children are excused to move to one of the following areas: Homework Center, outside or gym, Kid-Kare room, a creative play area, or Kid-Kare 2, a creative play area for children in grades 4-6. The children have opportunities to move from one area to another during their stay. We strongly encourage interactive play in a family-life atmosphere.
