Kid-Kare is an after-school program offered to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton students in grades K-6. Children from the intermediate building are bused to the primary building. The program is open from 2:15-6:00 p.m. We are staffed to provide a 1:15, staff to student ratio. Most of the staff are young adults providing good role models for the children. Currently we average 40 children per day, but can provide care for up to 60 children. The program begins with a snack, provided by our food service. The children are then excused to move to one of the following areas: Homework Center, outside or gym, Kid-Kare room, a creative play area, or Kid-Kare 2, a creative play area for children in grades 4-6. The children have opportunities to move from one area to another during their stay. We strongly encourge interactive play in a family-life atmosphere.
