Spring Break
This year’s Spring Break begins next Monday, March 8, and runs through Friday. Classes will resume on Monday, March 15.

Children’s Mass
Because of Spring Break, there will be no Children’s Mass next week. Everyone is invited to join us for our next Children’s Mass on Tuesday, March 16, at 8:30 a.m. in the school’s gym.

PAA Spring Sports
All boys and girls in grades five and six are invited to join the baseball and softball programs. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, March 18. A parent meeting will be held that evening at 6:30 p.m. in the St. Anthony School gym. It will be an opportunity to meet the coaches, receive information about rules, schedules and field locations, and pick up uniforms. They are also looking for parent volunteers to serve as coaches. Please call Melissa Toenjes (420-8782, if you have any questions or would like to coach either softball or baseball.

Thank You!!!
A special thank you to Cathy Bengtson and all who helped with the Used Book Sale during Catholic Schools Week. The success of the sale was due in a large part to the many hours that Cathy put into the project. The profit from the sale totaled $271.50!

Registration 2010-11
Thank you to all who have returned their registration forms for the 2010-11 school year. If you have yet to return your child’s registration, a new registration form was included in last week’s Thursday Packet.

SEAS Board of Directors
The March Board of Directors meeting will be held in the school’s Multi-Purpose Room and will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16. The meetings are open to the public and visitors are welcome.

Parent / Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, March 16, and Thursday, March 18.

Statements
The Kid-Kare and Lunch Statements are included in today’s Thursday Packet.

Report Cards
The second Trimester ended on February 19. Report cards with second trimester grades are included in today’s Thursday Packet.

February Calendar Raffle Winners
A list of the February raffle winners is included in today’s Thursday Packet.

Congratulations, Tina!
Tina Theis, a sixth grade student at SEAS, competed in the Regional Spelling Bee at St. John’s yesterday. Tina finished in a tie for fourth place! Congratulations on your performance, Tina!

Lenten Outreach Project
Thank you so much for your particpation in our Lenten Outreach Projects. Thus far we have received more than $300 in donations to the “Baby Bottle Boomerang” campaign with the Pregnancy Resource Center! There are three more weeks remaining in the campaign. You have until Friday, March 26, to return the bottles and any donations you wish to make.

Volunteer Appreciation Day
We are so blessed to have so many wonderful volunteers! They help in the cafeteria, classrooms, office and at recess on the playground. They also serve on our Board of Directors, the SEAS Home & School Committee, Fundraising Committee and in many other ways. We would like to honor these people and recognize their service to our school community, so we have declared that Tuesday, March 23, will be Volunteer Appreciation Day. A flyer with more information is included in today’s Thursday Packet.
